The treasure hunters were surprised to see a ghost talking to them. They were even more surprised when Casper told them that the treasure was not for them to take. He explained that the treasure belonged to the previous owner of the mansion and it was his duty to protect it. At first, the treasure hunters didn't believe Casper. They thought he was just trying to scare them away. But as they talked more, they realized that Casper was telling the truth. They also saw that Casper was a kind and friendly ghost, not the scary and mean ghost they thought he was. The treasure hunters apologized to Casper for their greediness and promised to never take something that didn't belong to them again. Casper forgave them and even showed them around the mansion, telling them stories about the previous owner and the treasure. From that day on, the treasure hunters became friends with Casper.
