The Ghostly Manor
Once upon a time, there was a family who moved into a big, old mansion. The mansion was called "The Ghostly Manor" because it was said to be haunted by ghosts. The family was not afraid of ghosts, so they were excited to move in.
On their first night in the mansion, they heard strange noises coming from the attic. The youngest member of the family, a 4th grade student named Lily, decided to investigate. She climbed up the creaky stairs to the attic and found an old diary hidden in a dusty corner.
Lily brought the diary down to her family and they all gathered around to read it. The diary belonged to a girl who used to live in the mansion a long time ago. She wrote about strange occurrences that happened in the mansion and how she believed it was haunted by a ghost.
The family was intrigued and decided to do some research on the history of the mansion. They discovered that the girl who wrote the diary was actually the daughter of the previous owner of the mansion. She had disappeared mysteriously and was never found.
The family realized that the ghostly occurrences in the mansion were actually the ghost of the missing girl trying to communicate with them. They followed the clues in the diary and eventually found the girl's hidden room in the attic. Inside, they found her diary and a locket with her picture.
The family was able to solve the mystery and put the ghost to rest. From that day on, the mansion was no longer known as "The Ghostly Manor" but as "The Happy Home". The family was grateful for the adventure and the new home they had found. And Lily, the brave 4th grader, was proud to have helped solve the haunting mystery. The end.
