It was a beautiful summer day when the Johnson family decided to go on a camping trip. They had been planning it for weeks and were excited to finally get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The kids, Emily and Jack, were especially excited to explore the great outdoors and roast marshmallows over a campfire.

As they drove to the campsite, Mr. Johnson noticed that they were running low on gas. He quickly pulled into the nearest gas station, but to his dismay, the pump was out of order. They had no choice but to continue on and hope they would find another gas station soon.

As they drove deeper into the woods, Mrs. Johnson realized that she had forgotten to pack the tent. They had to turn around and go back home to get it, adding an extra hour to their trip. By the time they arrived at the campsite, it was already getting dark.

The Johnsons quickly set up their tent and started a fire. They were all starving and couldn't wait to cook their hot dogs and s'mores. But just as they were about to eat, it started to rain. They had forgotten to check the weather forecast and didn't bring any rain gear.
